It seems most all top players are committed and of those we have left we are not anywhere near the lead. We will be losing several this year and so playing time is there. Is Dawn just not big on these kids or is it that others have recruited better, which is hard to see with Dawn here. We may need to suppliment in the portal more than usual this coming year since we lose Paopao, Hall, Walker, Feagin, and possibly Raven Johnson although unlikely. That is 4 spots. We still have alot back but losing 4 and getting 1 (4 star player) isnt best.
Just wondering the deal here this year. I know there is still a chance at Maker and Chavez but we dont lead for either.

It’s really a case of a stacked bench and players wanting to be the featured star at their position. Maybe even players not wanting to be a backup for 1-2 years. Thats the only thing I can imagine. The illogical part of me thinks “Why don’t we get the top 1-3 players every year?”

We're stacked. People know it. It is also possible that Dawn is leaning toward not coaching for as long as Geno or Tara. People might sense it. There also might be some things churning in the portal already.

Raven Johnson’s overall BB skill sets are above average but she can’t shoot a lick.
She shoots about like Barney Fife sings. From an interview with Andy Griffith:
She said, “Barney’s the man I want to marry, the man I want to be father of my children…”

“But he can’t sing,” I said.

Then, Betty Lynn and every other human being within earshot yelled in perfect unison, “NOT A LICK!”
