Yea, other than them playing a few ACC teams each year, ND isn’t bringing much value to the ACC. With two losses and no conference championship game should leave them out the playoffs imo. That schedule is just too bad, and sometimes it doesn’t be their fault but a playoff team isn’t losing to NIU and any other team on that schedule.
What's Southern Cal, their cachet opponent, got now? Five losses?

I consider the long-term, not just one football season.

They do bring value, name recognition, and some prestige. But not enough to sell my integrity over.

None of what they "bring" really accrues to the league. It just makes scheduling Power Four teams easier for them.

I totally agree with that, but what is Notre Dame's second loss? Or are you anticipating one in the next couple weeks?

Their last 3 games are UVA, Army, @USC.
Call me crazy but I think Army would be the most likely to pull the upset. They play an extremely sound, methodical, resolute, mistake free style of football.
Unlike Navy, they do possess a good pass defense (which was Navy's undoing). If Army should pull the upset, it won't be because ND is overrated as many will be quick to proclaim, but for the reasons I previously stated.

How would the Gamecocks do against Indiana?
I have not watched any of their games, so I'm asking seriously.

It would be awesome if Army got them. I'm not predicting that though.

Good question.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that 1-2 at most on this board have bothered to watch any of their games, but somehow seem to have detailed knowledge about their program.
I'm always amazed at how many posters on here are experts of so many other programs.

Yeah, I wasn't predicting it either. I was just curious of the OP saying two losses and no conference championship leaving ND out of the playoff.

But it truly would be awesome if Army was able to pull that upset!

Only looking at their schedule vs ours, I'm inclined to think we would win fairly easily.

They've played one team with a winning record and no ranked teams. We're about to play our 5th ranked team, and have been competitive in all of them except one.

That's my thought but was hoping for an eyeball opinion from someone who has watched them play.

Yea I’m hoping for teams that’s in front of us that we can pass to lose lol I think one more loss will eliminate ND

They rank 106 out of 134 FBS teams for strength of schedule. Worst SOS for all power conference teams. If they lose by more than one score to OSU, they should be toast.
