Step up you BThis sounds funny but I don't like to share my thoughts on PSU football here because someone will run their mouths and insult me.
It's just not worth arguing about. There's no real passion and there never will be again. Just regrets. And anger. And the list of people who should pay a price for what they did over the last 10 years or so.
9-3 probably ain't gettin' there.8-4 can become 9-3. We can do it!
Penn State doesn’t have any proven WRs who are legitimate threats. Sad, but true.
This team is not capable of catching lightning in a bottle.
One of the most underrated movies of all time. Longer version, seldom seen in the US, is even better.
semi-pro football, who cares?
I'm am now in that group. For the past 5-10 years I watched dispassionately, preferring wins to losses but not really caring much either way. Now, with paid players and uncontrolled free agency, I really don't care at all. That said, many on this board apparently still do care. For them, I wish safe travels, good times, and many wins.semi-pro football, who cares?
I have been watching the Lions since 1960. Witnessed only 2 titles. Would surely like to see another before I'm gone. Not a whole heluva lota time left.I'm becoming half glass is full as July rolls around. Any rumblings?

I agree with lots of this but I’m guessing you’re coming from a position of imagined principle and im from a position of it’s bad football.I'm am now in that group. To steal from one of the greatest movie lines ever: so you’re saying there’s a chance?I'm becoming half glass is full as July rolls around. Any rumblings?

Sadly, fair, we are in the same place. If I am home, and a game happens to be on I will watch. But I no longer schedule my Saturdays around watching.I'm am now in that group. Possibly you can add 1973 as well.Did you miss the 1968/69/94 seasons? We wuz robbed!

You may be right but the end result is the same. It's no longer worth the investment my time. I agree that it's bad football. If I want to watch men making more money than I do I would prefer to watch the best and that is the NFL. Any pretense that winning at the college level is for the glory of Dear Old State is laughable.I agree with lots of this but I’m guessing you’re coming¹¹¹²12 from a position of imagined principle and im from a position of it’s bad football.
I think this may be the year I will watch no games at all. Of course, if they are unbeaten going into the USC and Ohio State games I will be sorely tempted. On the other hand, I think it's likely they will have a loss, or maybe two, headed into USC. Looking at the schedule, I predict 8-4, but a low of 7-5, or a high of 9-3, would not surprise me.sad and true. Still I watch every game, even if I gotta TiVo. May go to the WVU game, break in the tiara grab a warm cot
We’re undefeated I mean not defeated yet.I'm becoming half glass is full as July rolls around. Any rumblings?

Well then I will move that one into the win column. The entire the Rick crew will be at the usc game.
Saw it all, cried, ranted just like everyoneDid you miss the 1968/69/94 seasons? We wuz robbed!
I think what hurts the most is 6-6 in Bowl games. I loved watching PSU beat so many teams in bowls under JoePa (sigh )I don't expect anything different this year.I'm becoming half glass is full as July rolls around. Any rumblings?
