Is it too obvious?

Clemson has played one team (UGA) with a pulse and got smoked.

They also got beat pretty bad by Louisville but dominated the stats.

They should have lost to Pittsburgh.

If we continue playing the way we have, we should take care of business up there.

I know it's popular to say stuff like "you can throw out the records in a rivalry game" or "anything can happen in a rivalry game," but with only a couple of exceptions, I think when Carolina is the better and more physical team, we have typically won this game, at least over the last 40 years.

There have been games against them where the Gamecocks came in clearly unprepared and we got embarrassed, but I think Clemson was still the better team in those years and we just made their job easier. I can't think of an example where Clemson came into the game not ready to play, however.

Always.

If that was our game the SEC refs would have ruled that he stepped out of bounds at the 35. šŸ˜‚

Naaaaaaah........ we're not Auburn. We're South Carolina and as soon as our guy caught the ball in the endzone the ref would have quietly dropped a flag, and his hat, at the end zone line as soon as our guy ran it out.....

The penalties would have been:
"Player didn't properly report and his shoe laces weren't tied right." "Also, unsportsmanlike conduct for 'leaping' over the endzone line."

I just canā€™t imagine Clemson magically being able to handle a good team. SC also play better on the road. Beamer teams donā€™t get fazed, even if the other team come out hot. I like SC to really humble Clemson. Beamer will definitely have his team ready to play.
