The inability to establish a run game here is a concern but we will see how it progresses
Freakin Dart's got 391 yds passing with 1:00 left in the first half. If he goes down this year, they're 17'd.
He was on the roster last year when the other guy was averaging 32 yards a punt. Another reason to want to punt Arnett in the nutts

After watching us look like an SEC team (any SEC team) is supposed to look against an FCS opponent without Dakota in their name, I am even more stunned at just how 17'n badly we were coached last year.

Look, it was EKU, but this was a good win. We beat them soundly and the game was never in doubt. We got a chance to play wide open and work out some kinks along the way. There are things to be concerned about, sure, but we’re maybe a little better than I thought we would be and we’re dаmn sure not any worse.
So while, yes, it was an FCS opponent, so was Arkansas State in 1993, Maine in 2004, and Samford in 2016 (yes, we won that one, but it was 56-41). I think we’re allowed to feel a little good about it.

Exactly. This post read my mind. Business was taken care of and now begin prepping for who’s next.
I just want to say when I said the past I wanted us to run a mobile qb balanced system this is what I was talking about. Not Mullen style but a play maker at qb making plays and spreads ball around. Fast moving. It's a huge breath of fresh air that we are finally after forever running a modern style offense just like when we moved to spread when Mullen came now we took the next step finally to run the new modern offense. It's for sure not boring and gives us a shot to score points and be competitive
I’m not a fan of dancing after TDs, but by golly I sure enjoyed them last night. It was good to see them having fun and we as fans deserve to see the fun after suffering through last season.
