Lloyd is projected as a 5th rounder in the draft. Certainly played for a better team, but only for one season, and don't think he changed his draft status at all by going there.
You mean Bell? Yeah, like I said. He's just not a great football player. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go UDFA.
I saw Lloyd as a 3rd round projection and Bell as a 5th. Neither helped their draft status. I guess Bell at least got an ACC ring out of it.
They do have a lot of maturing to do, but too many fans have the attitude that these players owe them something (an explanation, a commitment, etc.). To me, all these players owe the university and indirectly to me as a fan is to play hard for the scholarship that you were given. That's it. If a better offer comes along. I understand. That's business and everyone moves on. Personally, I wish some of the players would cool it a little on the social media and stop communicating with people they don't know. I know that is the new school way to do things, but the down side of it is fans that don't know you coming at you personally and then the player is all in his feelings. I just have always believed in keeping your circle tight and not communicating too much with outsiders that you don't know.
Agree 100%. I got no problem with Burch and how he did it. Played in the bowl game, was up front and honest with the coaches, didn't let anything play on out social media. Much different scenario than Bell and Lloyd.
Social media is a cesspool. I can't figure out why any athlete would put any value on what some anonymous idiot says on X.
