You act surprised by this

He's not surprised. For some reason he likes to insinuate that everyone on this board except him thinks that Jamont is going in the first round.

as an early second round pick. of course, it depends on whether the team that picks him has much backcourt depth. the team taking him will hope he can play a couple of positions and therefore be a good roster addition. the teams picking early in the second round had bad years, and theoretically need lots of help.

he'll have to keep working on his shot, passing, and ballhandling. but since when has the nba cared about that stuff?

His locker was already cleaned out and Brian Johnson took his number 44.

I honestly don't think he'd improve his draft status by returning. Even with another year of college he'll still be a 'tweener. Unless he had a strong desire to stick around and get a degree, which I'm guessing was not his main priority, then his choice is to either make money next year playing ball or stick around and wait another year before making money.

Ding Ding... We have a winner..
Don't let the board read that, because some think that J-Money is a point guard and the best one ever at MSU.

He is a man without a position at the next level in the USA.
I say he has a good pro career over-seas...

I just think it is funny b/c all along he said he would only stay in the draft if he was going to be a first rounder.
Now he has said he is staying in no matter what...

I wish him luck....

The only thing I heard from him was that he was gone unless he got injured. Now alot of idiot reporters speculated that he wouldn't go unless he was a 1st rounder, just like they do with any other underclassman. But, every article I read that had quotes from Jamont was that he was gone no matter what round he was drafted in.

Jamont has been consistent from day one that he was going pro unless he was injured. He's never said anything that I've seen about coming back to school if he projects as a second round pick.

After pulling out of last years draft, Jamont said he would play only one more year at State. Like you said, he has not said anything to contradict that statement.
