The Big East in the mid to late 80's was insanely good. Course there weren't but 8-9 teams in the conference and they were all damn good except for Seton Hall. They were the whipping boy of the league.

Yea except for that time Seton Hall made it to the championship game (1989) when Glen Rice busted their ***.

I had forgotten about that. Andrew Gaze was their star player and I'm guessing PJ Carlesimo was the coach of that team.
