lol...this is hilarious. Also, kind of sad that the announcement of a partnership with the collective comes before the commitment to the school. Tells a lot about where the priorities lie.

So people support local charities by giving money to college athletes. Makes sense. I don't like NIL.

St. Judes Children Research Hospital is in Memphis, founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas in 1962. I have been donating to St. Judes for years. And I intend to give as long as I'm alive to help them find a cure to childhood cancer. I hope Nichols will donate some of that NIL money to St. Judes. I don't know for sure but, I have a feeling he will pocket that money all to himself. Hope I'm wrong. But I know where my money is going to when I donate to St Judes. It's going to a good cause, bigger than me. Cannot say the same for NIL. I hope that Jaylen Nichols enjoys playing against American Athletic Conference opposition rather than SEC competition. I, for one, won't miss him.

Or, and I'm just spitballing here, you could just go out and promote worthy, local charities because you're a good person, not just for NIL.

"Money is wasted on fools. They cannot buy wisdom when they have no sense." Proverbs 17 v16.
AMEN, Brother!!!

But, I've got a feeling that you & I are not of the same understanding. My shortcoming but, I'm not comfortable quoting scripture anywhere, let alone on a Sports Forum. Peace be with you.

Ya know, that's one of the wisest posts I've read. Perhaps it should be espoused more often .... REALLY.
