He is basing it on the expectation before the season started and our schedule. Offense improved from last season and Lebby was an OC. He stayed away from the defense which is why he gave him a C. Everyone outside of our fanbase felt like 2-10 was a good prediction for us. I wasn't surprised by his write up.

There was absolutely no one expecting us to win 2 games last year aside from the most pessimistic people, and even with laughably low expectations, Lebby managed to fail to meet them. That cannot be denied
Maybe he turns things around or maybe he doesn’t, but the fact that year 1 was a complete failure cannot be denied

I’m not sure anyone predicted 2-10 and getting annihilated by Toledo at home.
I think that is part of the C. Toledo shocked everyone as did ASU but ASU proved themselves. ASU was supposed to be 1 of the 4 predicted wins.
Dillingham lost 29-0 to Fresno state in 23… several other blowout losses as well. Turned it around in 24. This is not to defend Lebby at all as 2-10 is absolutely unacceptable. I did want to point out that it’s not unheard of for a coach to have a rough first season and start the process of getting better in year two.
