For anyone who saw/remembers the play or has it recorded, Ja’Air had an opportunity to break up a pass where the db was beat (cannot recall who it was) and the wr was right there to be had and instead it seemed like he pulled up to avoid contact altogether. Wondering if the defenseless receiver rule was in his head at that moment. Would like to hear other opinions on this play. First thing that came to my mind after that play was if that were Ray Isom that wr would have been carried off in two pieces.

None of the safeties were reminding me of Brisker

My immediate thought was..."He's gonna kill him....Thank God he didn't cuz he would have been ejected too!"

None of the safeties were reminding me of Brisker

Brown is much better in center field hawking the ball based on last year vs yesterday. Perhaps the quick release had a lot to do with that, but he didn't seem to have the aggression coming forward that Brisker played with.

Of course, new defensive coordinator and a few new starters could have something to do with it as well.
