A&M burning through millions of that oil cash money with Jimbo and NIL without any results better than before

It goes back further than that really back to RC Slocum. Despite having more money than god and the best recruiting grounds in the country, they are a 7 win program. It’s what they always have been and what they always will be. Everything about that program says national power but they just aren’t. It’s karma for the yell leaders.

Biggest fraud in college football. He won a title by spending months protecting a QB that should’ve been in jail, and the only consistent success he’s had is the ability to run a program that has absolutely no rules or restrictions when it comes to doing what it takes to acquire talent or keep them eligible.

and for the record, Dabo isn’t too far off. Just a slightly more respectable version of Jimbo

It goes back much further than that. Slocum is actually A&M's winningest coach since Dana Bible in the 1920s.

Everyone mentions their money and recruiting area. However, as was pointed out this week, their creepy culture turns people off. Theyll never recruit well enough to be who, they think they should be.

They’re also without their starting QB. I think we’ll get a lesson how tough that can be, especially on the road, this weekend.

Yep.

Jimbo isn't a bad coach. He may not be a great one, but I think his personality is a little abrasive, and that rubs folks the wrong way. But he's done as well as anybody there, and they are not quite as 'soft' as they were under Sumlin. If Sumlin hadn't inherited Johnny, then Jimbo would probably have about 5-6 more wins.

He's also a cuck (allegedly). You can't run a football program if you can't run your household.

Jimbo knows how to talk to the A&M money guys, even during his press conferences, on the field interviews. He is a salesman to them and does a great job. Gets a great recruiting class. Just wins the same as the guy they fired. But for some reason there still is big hope that they will turn the corner any minute.
