I haven’t followed along with much of this. I will state than I am a big Beatles fan but absolutely think they could accurately be labeled a “boy band”.
Everyone has their opinion… but… you gentlemen asserting this really ought to land in the “posting about music” time-out room for a little bit
Let It Be. Blackbird. Something. Yesterday. While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Norwegian Wood. How anyone could find these and a whole bunch others to be anywhere even in the same universe as “boy band” material is beyond me.

outfits and hair
happy pop song cadence
crazed 14 yo coeds
simple words
band smiles
As I said, I love them. But their early stuff is very much boy band-like. So guys, I can agree that their first few years and most if not all of their early hits can be said to fit with with boy band traits… but in my opinion they vastly transformed themselves and transcended that genre over time. You started to get hints of it in Help! and then with Rubber Soul and Revolver they really did start on a new journey that went a lot of different places.
So I can get on board with a statement like “The Beatles had an early boy band phase” or that they got their start in that mode… but not as labeling them overall as a “boy band” because I think that term falls far short of encapsulating the whole of their career and their musical legacy.

Honestly, I enjoy the whole "the rick" persona, but, sometimes at the end of the day, it just makes it hard to understand what you're actually trying to say.
In this instance I’m questioning the validity of saying winning a Grammy means it’s a good band, assuming of course you also hate boys to men like the rick does
Abbey Road. First heard it in 1969 at Montana State University, where I also heard Chicago's first album and Led Zeppelin I. But Abbey Road is the best. I still know every word of every song.
