TV numbers are going to be big in the next variation of "Major College Football"

9 million watched Texas-Michigan.
Almost 6 million watched Colorado-Nebraska

Texas Tech-Wazzou kicked off after us and got more viewers.

Only 17,000 people watched Alcorn-Vandy.

With the USC game only getting 589k, I think the moral of the story is to STOP starting games at 17ing 11-12PM EST

Somewhere around just 20% of this country’s eyeballs exist west of the Mississippi River, yet we keep doing stupid crap like this just to fill a specific network time slot

PAC 12 schools always hated that time slot. Problem is, as low as the viewership is, it’s a lot higher than anything else they could show instead.

Seems pretty good!

For context, the same amount of people watched a 10pm Texas Tech-Washington State game as the 2024 CWS drew on average (which was the most watched CWS in history).

Every game that had more than us except AU and Bama could also be viewed on DirecTV.
