I don’t know what Leach’s buyout is or who has that kind of dough to make it happen, but it would have to be so much better for the program to put that cash in the BI.
It would probably take 8 figures to get Leach gone, and then we are going to end up with another unproven coach who won’t have much NIL money to work with because all the big money is spent. Why not put half of that into NIL and go all in? We stand a much better chance of actually improving in the short term. Put a little more into coaching staff, too.
Don’t expect Leach to complete when we aren’t giving him the resources to do it.
