I wish a player would just plow into him when he’s out on the court like that. He’d get a technical for being out of the coaches box and affecting play and he’d get knocked on his arse.

Cal got a tech called in a game recently where he was inside the 3 point line
I feel like they’re usually better about being off the court when play is on their end, and they get tremendous leeway when it’s not impacting play. This picture is absurd.
A good Cam Matthews screen would probably get him back where he is supposed to be.
As a player, you have to know to quickly shift into contact with the coach and yell about it. That has to be a technical foul.
Also, does this have anything to do with making the court a little wider. Seems like the 3 on the side used to be closer to the out line.

This was in a response to the original tweet. It can be viewed as legal, but its also insane. The kid inbounding the ball needed to throw it straight at the coach's head. Obviously that wouldnt ever happen, but itd be a lot cooler if it did!

out of his chair to do that. I was at the game and saw that firsthand. Don’t remember the year or the player whose shorts was tugged but that place is itty bitty.
I always said if om ever had a bb team & filled the house it would be loud in there because it’s such a small venue but hasn’t happened since they opened it w/either Kermit or AK.
Closest they ever got to that place being loud was that nit run a few years back & GT Jackets beat them down.

That's a final four photo from the Superdome. Always going to be more room in domes. Their home benches in old Carmichael Arena were much closer.
