He didn’t burn Dj Stewart’s redshirt in 18-19 when Nick Weatherspoon got suspended. In my opinion if a player is being redshirted in basketball it signals a need for development and I don’t see a guy like that being an instant impact

Good point. He shoulda burned DJ's shirt. DJ burned his remaining eligibility later. Anytime these guys are fringe NBA players they always leave early anyways. Murphy is another one that's gonna be fringe NBA. We need his size.

Unless there is a medical situation or the coaches believe that a kid is not ready to contribute anything at all, I’ve about gotten to the point where I don’t see any purpose of a redshirt year anymore. No one’s sticking around for 4 years
