Since you brought up what I should do, I'll give my opinion of what you might want to do.

Seeing as how you feel you and your family are in danger due to the obvious rampant street racing and speeding by UGA football players, you should strongly considering moving to another city where no one speeds. I'm thinking The Villages in central Florida or some planned community where everyone drives golf carts would give you the peace of mind to live a life without the constant fear of death or serious injury posed by UGA football players driving. I would strongly suggest you make sure there are no young males in whatever new place you choose to live since they, by their nature, tend to drive fast.
If you've seen the way people act on golf carts you'd be singing a different tune.

The incident with those who died is really beyond the scope of the discussion.

That involved a UGA staffer driving a University-rented vehicle.

The question has to do with players driving their own vehicles and speeding. What liability do the University and Kirby have? As noted above, except for some exotic situation in which they are enabling the players to drive recklessly, it's hard to imagine anything in the way of liability.

For sure! They are trying to take over the leadership for organ donation from "liquor cycle" and motorcycle drivers! Taking stupid chances with crazy driving!
And how often do you see adults letting a 6 year old drive? Nuts!

It's amazing what people can do on these things. Saw a lady run over herself on st. Pats day. Watched it happen and all I could think was, How?

EMT on Daufuskie told me they have between 2 and 5 deaths a year in golf cart accidents. Only about 500 people live on Daufuskie year round so Daufuskie traffic is statistically much more dangerous than Athens.
