Short, Blake, Horton, Samson- none of them were able to make the field and have been around for a couple of years now- makes me back down the failure matrix to recruiting and player evaluation as the root cause. Add in Bell who put his name on the map in our program and he leaves- something is awry. a complete waste of scholarship spots

It's called poor player development.

At this rate, we will have a brand new team next season, go through this again and have a brand new team in 2025. Just hope the new players are P5 FBS worthy. I am not a fan of stealing players from the IVY League.

That’s what I was gonna say. And all of these guys that couldn’t get on the field for *US*…… who’s gonna pick them up? . Unless as noted above - it was horrible, horrible lack of development, and someone else is actually able to turn these guys into productive players.

I hate what is occurring, but we aren't the only team. A lot of teams are facing the same situation. There was a recent article discussing Notre Dame with a lot of players in the portal...
