First round, we lead the whole game and win by 13. There’s not even a game thread until the second half. Tonight, we’re getting beat down by the #1 seed on their home court, and there are 40 posts before midway through the second quarter. Y’all really do get off on being miserable.

Yeah, it's understandable that we would forget just how 17'n bad they destroyed us. Vic called it a WNBA team and he wasn't kidding. I think their top 8 all played at least a season in the WNBA and three of them are superstars.

Great to be in the tournament but it’s a tough seed. Especially having to play the top seed at their home court. I think a 10 seed might be an easier road to sweet sixteen. At least you don’t have to deal with the top seed at home.

Tough game to watch. I will say that the girls free throw shooting seems to be much better than boys.
I shouldn’t be surprised, but espn should be ashamed of themselves for not squashing the narrative that our girls intentionally hurt God’s gift to WBB. If you can’t tell from the replay that there was nothing dirty about that play, you need an eye exam or a mental exam.
That 2016 UConn team is maybe the greatest college basketball team ever. I believe the Top 3 picks in the following WNBA draft were all on that team.
And I will forever believe that them beating us by 60 helped us beat them the following year. I think we were determined to make amends for that performance and they probably overlooked us some.
