I saw that. We are now fee-yucked if that bastard has anything to do with it. Florida will probably now be our yearly Esat game, with the understanding that we never get to play Vandy again. Plus we will only get 5 home games.

for all his flaws as an athletic director, he does have some good qualities, and his love for MSU is one of them. The man had a vision of how MSU could prosper in the midst of the big boy SEC elites, but most other people didn't agree with it within MSU. Doesn't mean he's a complete idiot.<div>

He is an idiot when it comes to scheduling. Look no further than this year's. Thank God it's the last he had anything to do with. Sadly, he now has something to do with it again, it seems.

him having input into the new scheduling is good news for us. The 6-road games schedules and the selling home games to Jacksonville and Orlando were his way of raising revenue for us. It was short-sighted and misguided but it's not like he was trying to screw us.

Either by who we play and/or how they are sequenced. The biggies will come out much better.

Was it Jackie's second year that we had only 4 home games scheduled and had to pay Cal-St. Fullerton 50K to allow us to drop our home and home with them so we could pick up Arky State?

Does anybody know an estimate of what we would lose dollars wise on some of these 1-1's and 2-1's with Troy, South Alabama, etc.'s if we stopped the away games?

For example, I'm looking at South Carolina's recent past and upcoming games against Troy and it looks like both of those are 2 home games for SC with no away game.

I know our budget isn't as large, but I'm curious as to what sort of impact it has.
