As a Mike, King is/was the last LB that should have been schemed to that coverage. Rojas, then DD ...... after it happened once, I thought it would be "fixed." Empty with 5 wide should have been anticipated, as it would feature Leonard's ability to run. Perhaps man up with 1 safety high? If using a LB as a spy it has the potential to leave someone exposed. As we said when I played and coached (and rolled our helmets up and put them in our pockets after the game) it depends on who has the chalk last. There are many snaps in a game, those 2 were significant. Factor in the stumbling DB and a WR who runs a "banana" at the most crucial point in the game (and Allar takes the heat).....truly a game that could have gone either way!
