It’s over now. The Cigar Boys will get a coach they can control. Passing QBs will be an old memory.
336 yards last year. 303 this year. Whatever. If our kicker makes his kicks, it’s a 17-13 game there at the end and a tossup.
Leach was terrible in rivalry games. I can’t buy any of this.

We should have won in Leach’s first year, too. They literally ran a sure TD that we fumbled back 100 yards, and that was the difference.

What the hell are you talking about? The defense physically abused Ole Miss last year but our offense couldn’t do much of anything. The only reason Ole Miss was in the game last year was because of Rogers and the offense.

Wrong, defense couldn’t stop a 99 yard drive at the end of the game, offense outgained them in yards , first downs and TOP. You’re full of it. We ran two back sets and ran all over them in the second half.

Sure, other than that 99-yard drive they gave up in the 4th quarter to let Ole Miss have a shot at tying with a 2-point conversion, they played lights out.
Leach couldn't coach tonight because he's not alive. Why are y'all still talking about him like msu decided to fire him. He's not coming back. He couldn't have coached no matter how much you want it.

Maybe we wouldn’t have went from 9-4 to 5-7 if things hadn’t been done so insanely stupid with this veteran roster.
Didn’t have to make Arnett permanent, didn’t have to fire Leachs whole staff, didn’t have to let Peterson hire all his buddies, didn’t have to hire Barbay to round peg a square hole on offense, didn’t have to tear down everything leach left.....really what they did is waste a talented roster, just like 2018.

my only hope in this is that the old money farts who love the wishbone will see Chadwells base flexbone concepts and pony up.
I'd be perfectly happy with a true triple option offense (wishbone) if we were competitive and won between 6 and 10 games per season.

Well the coaching did suck all year. However last night, it was plainly obvious that OMs defense had more speed than we did at any skill position.
We occasionally made some holes to run. OM closed them quick. We hit some passes I. Space. OMs DBs closed the space and minimized the yardage quick. We couldn't make anyone miss in space. We caught some balls and couldn't out run them.
we need some speed on this offense in the worst way. We need some bigger RBs too. The next coach will have his work cut out for him.
