I have followed Coach Leach for years, going back to his days at Texas Tech. Always an interesting guy with his own opinions, and never catered to any bullsh#t.

One of the best things I saw in Coach Leach was bringing the rivalry into an on-the-field thing, and moving away totally from the WWE crap and stupid names that former coaches indulged in.

Even though we lost the Egg Bowl, I was glad to see Coach Leach go out with a win.

College football is now a helluva lot less interesting today. We lost a true national treasure.

One thing about Kiffin versus Leach was you knew that the passion was getting poured into the game on the field and that they kept the rest it from getting toxic. It's gonna suck not getting to see that matchup anymore, but that seems trivial compared to the rest of this tragedy.
