This season has really shown how important a good line is for success. Beamer is a great guy and hope we can keep building.

NIL balance is an art. A&M spent way more on DL and it made the rest of the team angry. Texas was having OL problems and by putting extra NIL dollars there, it is now a strength. The problem is not overpaying for one player. How would your LT feel if your RT gets 3X as much NIL? Texas was competing for a TCU DE in the portal, but lost out to Nebraska. Nebraska offered $$$. Texas is rich, it could match, but if it did, what would the Texas starting DL think, paying the newcomer so much more? And if you upped the whole DL, what would the OL think? So they had to let Nebraska win out, so to not upset the balance.
