Time to boycott Greenfinch Theater and Dive. I wonder if they're also not selling products from any other companies who are not sponsoring this parade?

When the boycott first happed, I was at an event, and they had an Anheuser-Busch company sponsoring the event. I walked up and grabbed a bud light. A few people gave me stares and one guy in my group even told me he could not believe I would drink that after what they did. He was in shock when I informed him, they also made the drink he had.

Had another guy that bought a ton of Bud Light for a work event the day before the Boycott started. He said it was the greatest event because he got to take a bunch of free beer home.

maybe I'm not following but what did government dictate?
Yup. This is just taking changing public opinion as an opportunity to stop spending money where there is not a return.

Semi-OT, but I just looked back BUD stock to see how it's done since the Dylan Mulvaney thing, and I was surprised to see it actually recovered at some point in 2024, although now it's back down another ~6% from the price when the Mulvaney thing blew up. But then I looked at Miller Coors, which is up 20% since then in appreciation, in addition to it's dividend yield which is still 3.11% even after the stock running up (compared to BUD's 1.7% even after the slight decline).

Miller Coors has the better commercials right now. I’m guessing that’s to blame for most stock wins/losses with beer companies

Kid Rock and all the other MAGA heroes dropped their boycotts a year ago. Stop letting politics dictate what you like. Let MSU do it instead.

Money talks. I heard an interview clip were Kid Rock spoke about having a sit down and thought they were great people. I was like yeah, great at cutting checks.

Bud Light always gave me a headache. Something in it doesn't agree with me. Maybe I produce too much testosterone. I'm with HailStout. Guinness is in my fridge. A real man's beer!

I drink Bud Light because it tastes like the balls of a Tranny. Don't judge me.

The only time I can drink light beer is on a hot summer day after yard work or floating in the pool.

The constant angry boycotts from the Left and Right annoy me. At some point you'd hope companies would steer clear of anything that's going to piss off a significant portion of the electorate but these days that can be literally anything so good luck with that.
I only boycott if they don’t pick a side

For all the guys that dropped Bud Light over their pride. Crazy how much government dictates things either way.
I’ve always thought bud light tasted too much like the aluminum can it comes in. Miller has been my choice since high school. My macho, ultra conservative, firefighter tough guy brother in law never did stop drinking the bud though. His stubbornness outweighed his hate.
