osu.I didn’t watch enough of O$U to really form an opinion on their defensive scheme, but they have top end athletes at every position, which could make any scheme look successful. However, he has a track record of success at other places as well, without the top end O$U type talent.
I hated the DBs 10 yards off the WR that Allen ran.
Can he bring Hartline with him.
Red zone seems impressive from the few games I watched . He had talent , but we also have good talent on that side of the ball too .
I believe he switched that up a bit during the season, allowing Caleb Downs to be more of a rover. Seemed to make a difference.

Tom Allen was set to make $1.6 million next season at PSU. Add his buyout to that plus what donors may throw in to sweeten the deal for a new OC and you're saying they can't afford $2.2 million?

I can't help but wonder.....considering that the Buckeye faithful wanted Day and his staff fired immediately and used every method imaginable to make their lives( and family) miserable. PSU finally trying to keep up and yet there are people still going to piss and moan....not surprised.
I have to question the accuracy of the offer details at this point of the process. Doesn’t seem logical for that info to be available yet.
