Louis was at a youth baseball tournament that my sons teams were playing in this weekend in Madison. He seems to be a really great guy and appears to just really love the game.He spent alot of time talking to the kids. Also saw him playing a pick up game with a bunch of kids ages 7-11 on an empty field last night.

Glad to see a guy representing MSU so well. He definately gained some fans and may have even converted a few OM fans.

When he shut out USM and "their greatest pitcher in school history", he earned a special place in my heart.

nothing will. This was their dream season. We ***** slapped them with a 5 nothing pitcher (twice) and team full of reject JUCO guys (proud of them all, but let's call a spade a spade). <div>
</div><div>We accomplished more than Ole Miss in their best decade ever, in our worst decade ever. </div><div>

2009 was Cinderella. <div>
</div><div>This was their year. They were going to host. They allegedly had the talent to win it all, only to flame out, to upstart MSU nonetheless. Just like Ole Miss 2005. </div>

surprise to them and laid the groundwork for their expectations for this season. They were very confident at the beginning of the year and after they beat the bears widweek, they got really confident. But they sputtered at the end and then suspended their 2 and 3 pitchers and that was that. Of course, Pollerena shut them out and we beat their ace in atlanta. I think that Cohen getting what he did out of what he had to work with has gotten the bear's and eagle's attention. The bear's will spend more money and the eagles will pray that it doesn't happen.

for a while they thought they had a legitimate chance to get one of the eight national seeds. The way they finished had to be pretty devestating, especially losing in a regional to an in-state team.</p>
