Are you naive enough to think one play determines a win or a loss???

Again, you have missed the point. A poster mentioned past complaints about Lowry’s fumbles. The discussion led to a historical reference to the fumble problems Lowry had as a punt returner during his time at PSU. That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. Some posters are acting (incorrectly) like a personal attack was made. Those fumble issues were very real and well publicized at the time.

Kevin Baugh’s punt return fumble in the Sugar Bowl was worst than any fumble/muff by Calvin Lowry.
That's funny. I almost brought that up because at the time I worked with a guy who lost his Sugar Bowl bet as a result of that fumbled punt. That guy was pi$$ed at Kevin Baugh. Those of us who didn't bet on football got a kick out of his tantrums.

I hope nobody brings up mistakes you made as a 20 year old college kid years after you made them, while 95% of people were congratulating you on a new job. Let it go Sparky.

Very underrated in his time here. One of the bright spots in the dark years.
People may forget this, especially in light of the Tamba play, but I think it was his int return that was the key to the 2005 win that marked the end of the dark years. PSU was having trouble moving the ball, his int set them up at around 5 yd line.

If you don’t agree with a poster that’s fine. But stop acting like you are a player’s dad. It’s embarrassing.

This is a PSU sports message board. It is not your message board. Stop acting like a control freak and move on.

Look at the responses Sparky. Nobody agrees with you. So, ‘act like an adult and apologize’ and ‘move on.’

Yet another poster who has a reading comprehension problem. Let me help you. Go back and read the thread from the beginning. You will find that another poster raised the Lowry fumble issue. I simply replied to that poster with facts taken directly from the Penn State Daily Collegian.

In case you missed this in elementary school, we live in a society with a free press and freedom of speech.

You do not get to dictate what people can post.

I offered you an honorable way out by asking you to apologize like an adult since you got cornered and trapped by factual data from a reliable source. Since you refuse to apologize like an adult, I am done conversing with you.

Have a nice day.
I will take credit (and blame, I suppose) for bringing up the Lowry punt return topic at all. It was a wisecrack, a joke. It was said thinking people had moved on from his punt returns almost 20 years ago and would just appreciate having him on the staff. I would like to formally apologize to all board members for expecting posters not to take (what I thought was obviously) a wisecrack seriously.
