LSU in Willy B next week; A chance for Beamer to turn the corner

Next Saturday is maybe Beamers biggest game of his HC career. Year 4, he desperately needs to show an upward trajectory. Todays win was wonderful especially on defense. LSU is beatable, its at home, and w Akron the following week, a 4-0 start would be likely if we win.

And oddly theres not a ton of pressure, ironically. A loss, wouldnt devastate the program in its current status. A win, however, launches USC into a huge momentum swing.

I would not say it is his biggest game. I think this Kentucky game was huge. We had a team that is essentially on our level so it was very important to get this win as with the current schedule the remaining SEC teams we face (execpt Vandy) are going to be favored against us. IF we can improve offensively than LSU is beatable at home. Which is something that I was not saying before this week. Our defense is legit. We have to get more explosive offensively and the sky is the limit.

The main thing is we can't show a regression. Last thing we need is to come out and lay an egg and spoil all the good vibes from this win. This is Beamer's year to show he can coach.

We were horrific in Week 1. We were a little bit better today. We just need to see the team improve over the course of the year. The offense took some baby steps today and that needs to continue.

If there was ever a time for Willy-B fans to shake the earth, this Saturday is it. I get sick of hearing how loud Death Valley is in Baton Rouge, and it is a huge advantage for them.
