I saw an interview where he pronounced his own name: Chrome 'n hock
He hasn’t actually committed yet, right?
Kronan the BarbarianInquiring minds want to know how to pronounce that alphabet soup.
And a couple of really good DTs & a really good cornerback.3-4 really good WR’s and 5-6 quality OLmen.
I’m no Lebby fan. But 2 things I don’t worry about with him are QBs and WRs. He’ll bring in good enough & coach them up. The rest I worry a lot about. He is a good addition. I think we are in best shape at QB in a long time!!! Glad for Lebby, it's brutal reading all the negative stuff. My deal he inherited a train wreck. Gonna take time which messages boards don't allow.
I was an Ex Coach (basketball) glad my time coaching wasn't message boards.
How long does he have to be in the job to expect some results?People forget he is just now over 1 year on the job.
No he hasn’t. Read the FSU boards for infoHe hasn’t actually committed yet, right?

probably be a good idea, supposedly he’s got a little league dad who is driving the process and there may be more visits. I don’t know how much of that is true. They claim he wanted a million and playing time. Then maybe we should pump the brakes a bit??????

It was good knowing you…..although we hardly knew you.probably be a good idea, supposedly he’s got a little league dad who is driving the process and there may be more visits. I don’t know how much of that is true. They claim he wanted a million and playing time.
The article I read with his dad’s discussion of leaving FSU was all about how he felt they didn’t visit enough places last time, so I was going to be surprised if they didn’t take more visitsprobably be a good idea, supposedly he’s got a little league dad who is driving the process and there may be more visits. Dammit. I already had several sophomoric nicknames picked out ready to go.Then maybe we should pump the brakes a bit??????
Even Croominator had good running backs.I’m no Lebby fan. But 2 things I don’t worry about with him are QBs and WRs. He’ll bring in good enough & coach them up. The rest I worry a lot about.
I figured this was a troll job. Happened with Arnold too.He hasn’t actually committed yet, right?
But was he ringing a cowbell?B-b-b-but he posted a picture of Mississippi State to his insta stories. That’s practically a commitment, right?***

If our coaches are hung up on giving incoming transfers (who are deserving) a guarantee to start, I fear we're in more trouble than we realize. Starting guarantees are common in the NFL and that's the model we need to be following, not a 1980s "earn your role" mentality. I still believe in that, but kids today, many with a travel ball backgrounds, don't.Was always suspect. Guys like that ain't coming without a reasonable guarantee to start. That's the reason they are transferring to begin with. I mean we couldn't even keep our own current starting QB without that.
We better get Shapen in the weight room.
It's reasonable if one stands out from the pack. And with us, I don't necessarily think they CAN give that guarantee. I mean is it worth our time and effort to pay MVB or Chromecock big money when we have Shapen? On the other hand, Shapen is injury prone. If he weren't there, I'm sure we probably have one of these guys in the boat, but the backup is still a problem. We're going to have to get a less heralded guy for that spot, unless we overpay like Ole Miss did in 2023 for that Oklahoma State guy.If our coaches are hung up on giving incoming transfers (who are deserving) a guarantee to start, I fear we're in more trouble than we realize. If we want to challenge for 5 wins (I realize a long shot), we can't go into 2025 with Shapen penciled in as a starter. Now if are we going to accept 3-9 in 2025 and put all our chips on the table for 2026, then let's just roll with Shapen in 2025 and the true freshman. It's reasonable if one stands out from the pack. That a SPS NIL deal to change numbers? It’s apparently official now. He’s committed.
Old enough to remember this one? All he needs is SPS or 6P on the name plate.17'n A!
