The kid might get me to watch MLB for the first time in 30 plus years
Just a short aside as to why MLB is dying. I have MLB Network. I rarely use it (got it as a promotional “freebie”). I go to tune into the Rays vs Pirates game just to watch Mangum. I am then informed that the game between Tampa and Pittsburgh is blacked out in my area. I live in the 17ing Mountain time zone.
Pay no mind to the rock and roll expert behind me who is loudly giving bad info to his family about every walk up song… cause this was pretty cool…

On TV, you could see him cutting up with Adam Frazier after the stolen base.
Can’t wait to get to some games. Glad the rays called him up. Definitely deserving.

.429 batting average, .500 OBP, 1.000 fielding percentage. On a hall of fame pace already. Almost included sarcasterisks, but hell, it’s true. So happy for this guy.

Well boys… Southwest delayed a flight so long that I was going to miss a connection so I drove over here on a whim and bought a ticket for $30.

He has 2 hits from each side of the plate tonight, I believe. He’s gonna be tough to deal with if that continues.
This is about the best Ive felt about MSU Sports in a long time.
Of all the things he hit tonight he crushed that interview the hardest.
One other play that we haven’t talked about is him bare-handing a ball off the wall and throwing it on a rope to second base without even looking. He didn’t get the runner, but that could easily have been a triple. He just had a helluva game.
