of coaching under Dupree's HS coach. I've heard some tremendous stories. I cant imagine anybody being any better than Dupree was.

written by willie morris is a good read. ol' willie had heard all the stories about this amazing high school kid and decided to follow him for the last part of his high school career. it is well written and offers insight on how the phenom was recruited in a time before the intraweb and boosters pretty much operated without any scrutiny. i bought a used copy on amazon fairly cheap about 2 years ago. highly recommended......

They both shed tacklers like few other RB's I've seen and both had tremendous acceleration.

I don't know how to compare those two against Walter Payton due to Walter's smaller size and running style.

Maybe you should have paid attention and learned something from him. But I'm sure you knew more than he did.

The way he changed directions on the run reminded me of Norwood, that same upright running style. That is scary that someone that fast was big enough to run people over.
