It’s early, but is it fair to begin commenting upon the leadership and decisions of Beamer? He’s basically 2 seasons in. When does it become justified if not necessary to review and comment upon his ability and judgment as a HC? I’m asking because 2 years seems a reasonable amount of time to me to build a body of work worth reviewing.

I would think that after this season, he should be able to judge his coordinator's progress (or lack of). Meaning, he gets a pass for the initial hirings, but keeping or firing them now are a reflection of his abilities to make decisions.

Yeah, at this point, I'm mostly looking to see how he addresses underperforming units. Hey, he made some bad hires as a rookie head coach. It happens. SOS made some really dumb hires as a veteran head coach. What Shane needs to show now is that he has the ability to identify problems and make moves to get the right personnel in place to fix them.
