I’m all for sarcastic jackassery but we do have serious issues in our athletic and marketing departments.

Btw Ole Miss is not having these problems. They’re succeeding. What scares me is that used to light a fire under our asses to get it together but not anymore.

Kind of on topic. I have always kind of wondered why the idea was that Ole Miss marketing for students is so much better than ours. This doesn't seem to indicate that:

Seems like the enrollment difference has stayed pretty steady for about 40 years. It was about the same in 2022 as it was in 1983. It doesn't seem like this would be the case if UM was wiping the floor with us marketing to prospective students.

I don’t know if you know this but Ole Miss has a pretty good shot at winning the west.

Do they? They have UGA from the east and they're probably in a grouping with A&M and Auburn vying for the 3rd most talented team in the West. Certainly there's not a dominant team this year and we very easily (likely?) could have a west winner with 2 SEC losses, but it'd be a tall order for them lose to UGA, split Bama and LSU, and win @ Auburn and v. A&M at home. Not impossible this year, but I don't know if I'd call that a "pretty good shot".
