That's the only reason to me to start Pollorena over Mitchell. He was great against Florida, and I think out of everyone that's started for us this year, may be the guy that gives us the best chance to win. Unfortunately we don't have anyone on the roster with tournament experience, so I think for game 1 it should come down to who has the best stuff. After the way Mitchell threw his fastball against UF he would have a good case to be that guy.

but Pollorena stopped the bleeding and allowed us to make a comeback. Caleb Reed pitched well in that game too.

I kind of like starting Pollorena because then we can throw Mitchell against GT if we win or against Austin Peay if we lose. If GT saves their ace, at least we will be going up against them with our hottest pitcher.
