MBB: When's the last time an opponent scored more in the first half than we scored in the entire game?

Probably more recent than I would think.

UT scored 43 in the first half. We had 42 the whole game.

When you have no school loyalty from Franks guys who pretty much all bailed what do you expect. Can’t put a team together in May/June. Give the man time to recruit. He’s at least having more 4* visiting than good old Frank ever had. Will take at least 3-4 years to get out of the mass exodus mess.

Jackson scored no points today O-7 shooting. Maybe this was an anomaly. I’ve not seen him much but this performance seems disappointing for someone of his reported caliber. Tennessee’s experience completely shut him down today. I really wonder if he will be ready for NBA after 1 year.

He'll wonder himself after a year of getting savaged like this. What I see is that, in the frontcourt, once we set up, everyone who touches the ball is looking for his own shot and no one passes off before he uses up his dribble. That's how it looks to me. Either we don't have an offensive system or they can't run it.

Oh, no. There are high schools in NY and DC - those that recruit - who could beat this team. Have you appraised this roster. It's only nominally Div. 1.

Not just GG today. We hit a total of 12 shots today between 12 players. That is 1 shot per player. A Tennessee player was 10-10 on his own. We hit more free throws than total shots.

I think everyone expected this year to be a struggle. But performances like this are unacceptable and concerning. This with a lottery pick on the team that we’ll lose after the season. Next season could be even worse. Paris better get some of these recruits were in on or he won’t last very long.

Agree. There is rebuilding bad. And there’s 12 shots made the entire game bad.

Also...when is the last time our football team outscored our basketball team versus a common opponent?

In 1999, we lost to Syracuse 84-37, I'm thinking that could be a possibility as far as a team putting up more in the 1st half than we did in the game.

And similar to this season(with Jackson), that year McKie was the only thing that kept us from going 0 for the conference!
