Well, using their logic I think they’d have to say that Boise St got the easiest brake. They’ll have a week off and then either play SMU or a supposedly undeserving Penn St team rather than a ‘better’ team.
You may be referring to that ESPN college playoff show, I watched it too. The other two crybabies were on, Pardon the Interruption show, they made sure to point out and complain about the matchups. Jealousy & Sour grapes if you ask me.
Yes sir, but in the late 60's and 70's and into the 80's we beat pretty much everyone and won a ton of bowl games. That shut them up. Alas not so today. Bowl record is sad.

I don’t know about the media, but I’m not really feeling the vibe with psu and this playoff - maybe I’m not alone which is why the game is not sold out.
I feel like there was way more interest and excitement in the past when Psu was headed to a NYD against a big time opponent even if it wasn’t for a national title.
Also, you have to play a full third of the regular season schedule to end up in the national championship game, which seems like too many games and may suggest over-saturation.

Yes the TRIB in Pittsburgh was airing complaints about PSU’s seeding. What else is new. 93.7 FM The Fan were hacking about the WVB epic win and then saying good luck against SMU. UM what?? It’s PSU Derangement Syndrome. WE ARE !!!!
