Jans' old team is up on #2 Michigan State at the half. Looks like Ole Miss is better than us at the 3 big college sports. Checked FB earlier and there was a highlight reel of State beating UConn to make the Final Four. Darryl Wilson had 27 Points. Lots of screens to get him open 3's and other shots. We also had Dante and Dampier who could score. We had a team this year with one guy who could shoot. I guess Jans thought Harris and Clary would contribute more.

They were always meant to be the Mississippi school that wins. It’s finally beginning to happen as Keenum and Selmon sit at home wanking

Our fans don't even know where Jan's coached or that Michigan State won tonight, the fans can't speak on being smart
I do know that one of those New Mexico unis won an NCAA tournament game this year and State didn't. I don't know where Jans was before the NM State gig either. Or was it New Mexico?

And Sam took over a massive disaster and was the fourth coach in three years here. WTH you smoking? Sam has a better record that even Vic his first three years.
Sam took over a “massive disaster” relative to what Nikki M-P inherited, but they still won more than they lost in both of the disaster years. The foundation was built- we had a massive fanbase in that sport that only a few programs in the country come close to matching. To act like he was starting from nothing is just flat wrong.
Talent was not that team’s issue, either- he inherited Jerkayla Jordan, Jessika Carter and Anastasia Hayes. These are All-SEC performers.
Purcell did a great job his first year, I’m not taking anything away from him there. Year 2 was a step back, and year 3 he’s basically back where he started.
I’m not suggesting he be fired or anything like that- but the job McPhee has done at Ole Miss is incredible. They’ve passed us and it sucks.

There was no foundation and tons of locker room issues you have no clue. He was basically stuck with those problems because of the situation. That program was in a massive ditch and there was no NIL either. My only problem with Sam is he is one of those no HC experience hires who's had to learn on the fly. But he's been better than every coach in our history their first three years.

Just noticed that. Thought it was the other one but I really don't know which is in what city or even their mascots
Don’t feel bad. There are a lot of people here that don’t know what they are posting about.

Ladies and Gentlemen, all of this comes down to NIL. If you want to play, you have to pay.
(I hated saying that)
Looking forward to when this environment changes.

MSU sports are in a downturn. Worse, the academic standing of the university is falling. Who is addressing these failings? Unfortunately, there are many leaders who don’t care whether their organization is successful or not as long as they are in charge.
Mediocre posters produce mediocre posts.

Unfortunately mediocre would be an upgrade. It’s hard to see the light at end of the tunnel we’re traveling down right now to me.
