<h3>
<h3>Congratulations Mavericks on the championship</h3>

...especially Dirk, J.Kidd, & Terry who have done so much for our league and worked so hard to get here. They deserve all the credit for what they have accomplished. Thank you to all my family, friends and especially the fans for standing by me this year. Miami fans are incredible. A special thank you to my teammates, coaches and Pat Riley and Micky Arison for all of their support. A lot to learn from this year, a lot to build on, and a lot of work to do this summer.</p>
He must have hired a new PR agent. </h3>

you have to give him credit for at least being associated with this, if you're going to blast him for everything else.</p>

No way that egotistical prick wrote that. That is a damage control PR move. Give it a week and he will tweet something stupid.

damned if he does, damned if he doesn't?

Yeah, pretty much. Of course, LeBron did not seem too gracious in defeat when he quickly exited the floor without shaking hands after the game. To their credit, Wade and Bosh shook hands with just about every Dallas player.

He can't just do and say the dumb stuff that he does and then just issue a pre-written statement and expect everyone to just forget about it.

if he had just never released it. What kind of ******* has to issue a public statement to congratulate the champions? He should have just congratulated them in person when the game was over like his teammates did.

for not shaking hands after a win? Not like I'm defending James because I still think he's a douche but I'm just saying... And if I remember correctly, he did stay on the court shaking hands. The only part I remember that wasn't too graceful after the game was his press release to all of the happy haters.<div>
</div><div>I will say this... I believe that's just PR who wrote that for him, but I think it will still be pulled apart since "he" doesn't mention Erik Spoelstra by name. LeBron is pretty close to the point of no return that only winning a championship will help mend his image, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does/say some more stupid **** that makes that even harder than it will be.</div>

Dirk explained why he left so quickly. He said he was already about to bust out crying when the game ended and he split to the locker room so no one would see. I thought it was odd too at the time. At first I figured it was because of Wade and James making fun of Nowitzki being sick in that one game.

LeBron did NOT stay and shake hands. He did the same thing against Orlando a couple of years ago.

I tried to see if I could find a full video of the end game but so far no good, but it did always look like he was going straight to the locker room so more likely than not you're right and I'll admit I was mistaken.<div>
</div><div>And I bring up Dirk even though I knew why he exited. I don't mind a lot of the backlash against LeBron as I'm actually one of the ones who are sick of him, but it's just one of those things where people will easily dismiss one act from someone but berate LeBron for doing the same thing. The only reason people are letting Dirk go is just because he's a winner, not because he was having a hard time containing his emotions. Hell, Bosh held his emotions in long enough to shake his hands and eventually erupted in front of the cameras trying to get to his locker.</div><div>
</div><div>The only thing I'm pointing out is just the double standard that people are so easily able to subscribe to just because they strongly dislike someone.</div>

I see your point. People would probably be ripping LeBron for doing what Dirk did if the shoe was on the other foot. Maybe not wanting to show emotion is a German thing. However both of them should have stayed on the court afterwards.

Hanmudog[/b]] Yeah, pretty much.

you're just being an idiot then. As someone stated already, Lebron did shake hands (etc.) after the game. I don't know where that's (him not doing this) is coming from. Look genius, I'm not kissing his *** or acting like he's the best player ever. However, if you're going to sit there and ***** about the way he eats breakfast, you're going to have to acknowledge him helping little old ladies across the street. I realize you don't watch much NBA, but come on.

It is coming from watching the game on TV. All it showed was LeBon heading down the hall to the lockers alone while Wade and the others were still on the court talking with Dallas players. LeBron probably did quickly congratulate Kidd but he did not stick around and shake hands with the whole Dallas team like the other guys did unless he did it in under 10 seconds. It just did not happen.

Do you honestly believe LeBron wrote that congratulatory message? After openly mocking Dirk and dissing his former teammates, predicting 7 titles, having a one hourspecial about himself and rubbing salt in Cleveland's wound, and throwing a huge introductory celebration in Miami..... did he suddenly become "classy" by issuing a prewritten statement?

What the hell is up with some of you lately with all the snide remarksabout not knowing anything about baseball, basketball, football, etc.? Are we all supposed to be credentialled now?

your been with him is that he should have stuck around for 5 minutes instead of 2 minutes, pretty much. What a joke. To your last point, it goes to knowing what the hell you're talking about and not just pulling **** out of the air (among other things).

Did you even look at the link?

LeBron did not spend 30 seconds tops on the court after the game. Ihave got pretty good eyesight and he was down the hallway and gone while Wade and the others were still shaking hands. Did you even watch the end of the game?
