I'm a good husband. I gave my wife her own TV in the kitchen.
We stopped watching the dancing show before we moved to Georgia, so that puts it at 2016. Never watched the others, but we do watch masked singer, a season behind so we can know who is who.
Occasionally, she will put jeopardy on and laugh at me when I'm answering most of the questions. I thought about trying to the show.....until the Cliff Clavin episode reminded me they will throw a BS topic out there just to cause humility. Literature being one.
Thank God my wife doesn't get in to those shows. She does the Hallmark thing but if the movie doesn't star one of the hotties then she's got other TV's to watch it on.
Mines a Real Housewife of whatever city fan. She watches them all and the live shows (ugh).

All my wife watches is cooking shows and home renovations shows. It's a mixed bag because when she says" Oh that looks good" I'm either getting something good to eat or writing a check for 10 grand.

Forcing a person to watch a TV show that he/she doesn't want to watch almost seems unreasonable.
That's why we have 6 TV's and 2 tablets for 3 people at my house, anybody can watch anything they want
