This is a quote from Mike Uva's story from this morning. "While Mazeo Bennett is on his way to an All-American season, other wide receivers need to step up in November." My question: Is Mazeo Bennett on his way to an All American season? Through 7 games he has 19 catches for 270 yards and 3 TD's. I just wish the kid had more touches.

Totally agree. To focus on what an All American looks like, Nick Nash of SJSU has 80 catches for 995 yards and 12 TD's. Taj Felton from Maryland and the Big Ten has 73 catches for 907 yards and 6 TD's. Those are numbers!
Maybe he meant next year or after. Bennett will probably gonna have a big year before he leaves, but the idea of him being an All American or even All SEC this season is laughable.
As a side note, I think he has the potential to be an electric playmaker with the ball in his hands over the next three years. I would really like to see him add 10-15 pounds of muscle mass next year.
