Mike Wright usage in start against Arkansas

Simply put, I didn't think the coaches used his strength enough. The dud is fast!
He needs more designed runs and pass/run options to his right side.
I'd even like to see some option plays with him and #23 as the pitch man. I think the one they tried today was a TD called back.
Anyway, i thought he was serviceable today, but held back by the coaches.

This. I cringed every time he was running in the open field. If he goes down, who do we have? Creed Whitmore? Sawyer Robertson should have never been allowed to transfer.

Screw worrying about injury. We aren’t playing for a national championship. Playing scared gets you hurt. Use the guy’s talents.

A zone read where he truly gets to read the defense and pull the ball if need be could be deadly. The dude can fly.

What we ran today were designed gives and pulls, and those have their place, but a designed option offense with Wright could be successful.

Parson was the backup today. Like others have said, you play to win. If you play to protect Mike Wright you get 200 yards of offense and 7 points. 17 that.
