He'll receive an evaluation and then return for his junior year. A player his size would have to put up Naismith numbers to have a real shot at the NBA.
Never underestimate the will of an MSU player to get talked into staying in the draft even when every reasonable indicator is telling them to return
It's a smart thing to do. He can get evaluated and come back to work on what he is told he needs to work on.
He should try to earn something now before he starts his pro career in the
Philippines

He gets an evaluation and can choose to return to work on the crap he needs to work on, or return and not work on the crap he needs to work on, or stay in the draft and go play somewhere for money.
