The Steamer is highly underrated. Great place to eat. A little off the beaten path, but worth it

We’re on the coast for the weekend and are wondering if The Packs has MS Gulf Coast restaurant recommendations, besides Cap D’s.
My useless opinion by category:
Crawfish- Taranto’s
Seafood- Mary Mahoney’s
Italian- Sicilian II (the lasagna will blow your doors off). It places number #1 Italian in the state often.
Bar Food- Woody’s Roadside (with three locations to serve you)
Burgers- Sully’s, Burger Burger, Woody’s, or, if you are looking for a fast food burger, Rebel Dip.
Greek-If you want to look at tattooed $kanks on Government Street, listen to some tunes, have an adult beverage, and eat the okayest Greek food, Glory Bound is it. If you want good Greek food, it is Mr Greek.
Po’ Boys- Probably Lil Rays although I would throw in Burger Burger
Mexican- you probably get better Mexican where you are from, but if anyone asked specifically for Mexican I would say Pepe’s.
Steak- Casinos are you best best. 32, Mingon’s.
Sandwiches- Monster Subs
Fast Food- Taco Sombrero, Quality Mexican Food

ETA: BBQ-Probably Murky Waters. You can get better BBQ from the supermarket than The Shed.

EETA:Coffee and breakfast- Jacked Up Coffee

I know we kid a lot, but I've had much better return for my money there than a lot of places no longer around...

The Rack House or Chimneys in GPT for fine dining. Desportes for a shrimp poboy for lunch if you’re in downtown Biloxi. Capt Al Or the newly renovated Blowfly Inn for lunch would please.

White Pillars is the best dinner on the coast imo. Great bar area and food is outstanding. Taranto’s, as a few have mentioned, for crawfish. Some mentioned Phonecia in OS- always good especially lunch- be advised it’s bring your own beer/wine. Mahoney’s bar for apps, which I think are better than their entrees. Project Lounge is a smoky dive bar with my favorite burger in MS; might get shot- might be kinda worth it. If in the Pass, I always enjoyed a poboy and a Barq’s at Pirates Cove, and surprisingly good sushi at Fat Sumo. Sleeper dish- the Dover sole @ BR Prime @ The Beau.
Thank you all for the recommendations. Chefdawg, we elected to try your choice White Pillars and it was probably one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. Everything was outstanding and the menu was great, pighead tacos, duck, rabbit and plenty of seafood. Highly recommend it

You say looking at tattooed $kanks like it's a bad thing.

Lil Ray's and Blowfly Inn in Gulfport
Lil Ray's still has my favorite fried oyster po-boy (and has for 30+ years). And I have a lot of great memories of the Blowfly back in the late 80's with my grandfather, especially on Saturdays for red beans and rice. Those red beans and rice are still the best I've ever hard (sorry Mom).

Solid list. Woodys has kinda worn off for me, but probably because I used to eat lunch there at least once per week. Also need to add Knuckle Heads for burgers - they have the best IMO.

And spot on about the Shed. That place should have been out of business a decade ago.
