ASU, WSU, NW/RI, GT, Tulane, Rutgers...not terrible.
We do have Bethune Cookman which was 349 in NET last season, UT Martin at 251, Nicholls at 264, and Southern at 278.

At first and second glance, it seems a bit stronger overall than recent years. Hopefully a few of the teams in the 200+ group manage to be a bit better and move into Quad 3 for our resume to look better come March.

Last year’s nonconference schedule was weird. That Marquette game specifically carried a huge load for our resume, and TCU was a nice win too, but otherwise we played a pretty rough schedule. We don’t make the tourney without beating Marquette.

I don’t know that there’s a single team we play that will be as good as that Marquette team was, but I do agree the schedule seems to have a bit more balance. Not a great schedule but not terrible. In a perfect world you’d play one or two fewer bottom feeders and replace them with middle of the road Sun Belt or C-USA teams. Like I wish the exhibition win in Hattiesburg counted and we could just cancel one of the SWAC games.
