beach vollyball team back in 96. It was a club sport of course. So, it's been around a while (at least to some degree).

It's not a new sport. Just the volleyball team playing a beach tourney. Ole Miss was at the same event and I think only one pair actually won a match. I think both are going to participate in more beach tournaments in the summer. About time they started doing this too. Obviously Florida, California, etc. schools have been doing this for a while. As anyone who has played knows, beach vb is a lot tougher than court. Should make them better in the fall.

Kind of hard to tell who the teams are, but it looks like our girls get owned a lot in this video. That sucks.
