Exactly! The 6th place team in the SEC got sent to one of the toughest regionals, while the 9th place SEC team got to host and got as close to a cake walk as could be imagined for them.Soccer sent to die out west.
Softball sent to die out west.
Here's hoping they don't ship baseball to Oregon st.
Softball like baseball had a couple of very bad losses that doomed them to having to go out west.Soccer sent to die out west.

But they were treated like a last place SEC team. OM got a better draw as a 3 seed. We weren't even one of the higher 2 seeds. It was BS!Softball like baseball had a couple of very bad losses that doomed them to having to go out west.
Nothing like being rewarded with a game against the best pitcher in the NCAA! All American 2 years in a row for Stanford. The committee knew what they were doing.Exactly! Next time don’t tell anybody unless we are up about mid-way through the game.
We were playing top 8 seeds though. We had a miserably tough conference schedule. FL, MO, TN, GA all in a row? That's 4 top 12 seeds. We never got swept. We got screwed over and everybody knew it. 2 seed? Sure. Stanford?Nothing like being rewarded with a game against the best pitcher in the NCAA! All American 2 years in a row for Stanford. Of course, we are to blame as well. We went from an elite hitting team to 1 run-itis over the last 10 games.
That's OK. They brought the super woman pitcher back out again because they lost the first game and gave her a strike zone from the ankles to the shoulders. She had no problem at all getting her strikeouts. We were playing top 8 seeds though. We had a miserably tough conference schedule. FL, MO, TN, GA all in a row? That's 4 top 12 seeds. LOL that's total BS.
My disappointment hitting-wise was we never made adjustments to a pitcher we saw multiple times.
The networks love to see All Stars in the games they broadcast. It seems the umpires cater to them. Stanford will lose when she can't pitch for them. That's OK.
