1) Let's call another sideways play that goes absolutely nowhere. That'd be a good idea. Deep into the 3rd qtr and we're still throwing sideways passes for losses of 1 - 3 yards. Utterly brilliant.
2) I'm so furious right now I honestly can't decide if I want "Rattled" back or not. The kid is simply *NOT* a good QB. He clearly, *CLEARLY* plays scared to death of any contact whatsoever and in spite of his obvious athleticism he refuses to use his feet to pick up yardage. If the DL just breathes hard on Rattled he gets absolutely terrified and it's so blatantly obvious. He didn't learn anything this season and he's clearly not ready for the pros.
3) Don't care what the replay showed, the long bomb TD, our WR was out of bounds by a toenail but luckily the image was too blurry to pick it up so they had no choice but to stick with the call on the field of TD.
4) Literally no run game. No RB's. (Rattled could have filled that role nicely but as I've stated, he clearly refuses to even try to get better in that department so > No RB's) Inexcusable.
5) Not 1 but 2 delay of games on punt team. > Inexcusable. And dude got an enormous raise to add insult to injury.
6) As mentioned previously, if the endzones were on the sidelines, we'd have scored 900+ points. Play calling > inexcusable.
7) I don't know about you guys, but it became *BLATANTLY OBVIOUS* near the end of the first half that there was *ZERO CHANCE* the refs were going to let us win that game. It was atrocious.

8) I'm madder than a wet hornet right now and I didn't cuss once. I will wrap up by saying as mad as I am at the coaches, Rattled, right now...... I'm 10x as mad at the 1/2 of our fan base that supports and encourages quitters. Even praises them. Ps.... I have not had one drop of alcohol nor any other substance today. To lose to Noodle Lame is worse than losing to Vandy. To be outright screwed out of the win by repeated boneheaded play calling and the refs is just a bit more than I can bear right now. That is all.

We did what we have, hindsight could have things been different, yes. Time to on, hopefully we will learn and move on, good season, build from there.

Thought you had some good points until the typical ref excuse. Did the refs help them score 45 on our D? Did the refs cause four punts in a row in second half. No, the lack of leadership by Rattler to get some first downs did.

Guess it depends on your perspective. I’m a proud Gamecock even though we lost. The last 2 games were worth so much to me. Would have been great to win tonight but I fell like ND was the better team. I’m mad mostly about some of the questionable calls that all seemed to go against us.

Take a deep breath. Calm down.
I just took 2 bars of Xanax. (4mg total) - Does that count? Just took my blood pressure (seriously) and it's 175/110. So yeah..... 2 bars please. I am absolutely furious right now. On the positive side, I'm now sure. I want Rattler gone. He's not a good nor even decent QB. I know one thing for certain with no hesitation in saying it > We play Joyner at QB that whole game, we win easy. It's that simple. And I have said "NO" to Joyner being our QB for what seems like 8 years now. I will be glad when he's gone too even though I love his heart and his willingness to play other positions ...... but seriously, he's been here for 19 years now. Ok, I'm going to read what others are saying now. (I still didn't curse) "Spitting nails" mad is childsplay compared to what I'm feeling right now.

In the off chance Lloyd is reading this and laughing..... don't laugh, you wouldn't have made any difference in the game. Every time you get a hangnail you come out of the game. You're not going to make it in the NFL. You'll get one small paycheck as a signing bonus and then you're done. You'll either get hurt or teams will quickly figure out you have no heart. Either way, spend that 1 check wisely young man.

Ummm....... first half / ND punted to us and we returned it inside the ND 40 ...... by the time the refs got done screwing us we were backed up to our own 20.....

But sure, refs had nothing to do with it. <smh> / You're either a Clemson fan, a Noodle Lame fan, or you're blind. The refs *BLATANTLY* inserted themselves into that game at the end of the 1st half and made sure to put the icing on the cake late in the 4th qtr. If you didn't see that, I can't help you.

I didn’t really understand all the passes at or behind the line of scrimmage.

We blew it big time when we had a chance to have the ball back at midfield before the half and got backed up to the 20. Beamer should have kept his cool there.

We blew it again when the D set us up in ND territory after the 2nd pick and we didn’t diddly squat with it.

Those were golden oportunities.

Don't agree with everything the OP is Saying. But let Him/Her Get it Out. It was a Great Effort by Our Remaining Players, Coaches and Fanbasesto Try and get the Win. It was frustrating to Come So Close in spite of all Our Outgoing Transfers and Some Opt-Outs. Some of us just care to much about the results. However Our Passion for Our University and its Success makes US One of the Best Fanbases in College Sports

Offensive aggressiveness was non-existent in the second half. Not sure what the adjustments were at half but they failed miserably.

Can’t figure why we weren’t taking more down field shots. Kept throwing at/behind the line.

If your BP is 175/110, you don’t need Xanax, you need a)help b)BP meds c)to stop watching football forever

Seriously, it’s the Gator Bowl…and Xanax isn’t helping your heart.

This guy (or lady) needs a life. I'm here in Jax with my family. We invested a lot time and $$'s on this game but it's just that, a game. Much more important things in life than football. If he doesn’t agree, it's time for him to take a look in the mirror.

With ND’s O-line and RBs, you can’t have five punts in a half (four in a row) and stay in the game. It’s that simple.
Evidently we went through a period where we thought swinging for the fences with the long ball or bunting with a screen was the way to go. Evidently the only base hitter on the team was the TE and we either didnt have one by then or we werent interested in a base hit.

I was very critical of SB and more so his hire of Satt at the beginning of this era. There needs to be changes /improvements here and there - but there are hundreds of great things done right. I like the overall projection/ so while the ND loss stings- I am really good with 8-5 at this point. Considering where we were at after UF game….I was very worried. The play and effort given the last part of the season was great. So many new faces and opportunities….the bowl game could’ve been worse. I think our late season run did huge things for recruiting the next 2 years. Lastly- never think you will win the ref battle against ND. 100% of their football games are slanted toward them. I say that as ND was my 2nd favorite college team growing up because I loved Holtz, Tim brown and Tony rice in 87-88. So I’m not anti- ND…although I despise them having their own set of rules. They just always win the “call” battle.

We played as good as we could with what we had on the field.
We lost 10 starters and one key player (thats 11 for our tater bretheren). Thought we played a very good game. Proud of the team. Without Vann and Brooks a whole different chemistry had to be developed and you could tell they were a few instances where we were off.

It was disappointing, considering we’ve generally been better in the 2nd half. We were totally ineffective tonight.
that happens when you are missing 10 starters.. nothing unexpected except adkins getting hurt before the half killed our offense

I’m 64. I have diabetes for 30 years. Blood pressure 174:92. You seem so angry. THAT is why I said what I said. My bad. I don’t normally name call but anyone I know who takes that drug has “issues”. You must be the exception. About the game. 44 got hurt second half. Had nothing after that. He was the guy who changed our season by blocking. He took the portal guys job. Both of them. I fault nothing in the game yesterday. Ran out of gas. Notre Dame had more size and more depth. If Beamer gets our team to play with that much effort and heart we will be a force. In case you didn’t notice our WHOLE team was in the huddle before the int. Tells me all I need to know. I ain’t bashing any of that or them. Bashing is an indirect form of name calling. So there’s that. I’m out.

On our last drive before the half, we were, of course, screwed out of a golden opportunity by getting moved back from the 50 to the 20 on the basis of penalties. However, we had some bad plays on the drive. One one play, Rattler ran the ball and had a first down except he started his slide short of the marker, so the clock kept running. Then he ran for a first down, but he kind of ran around without picking up any additional yards after getting the first down and just burned seconds off the clock.

I bet your eyes are dark brown, cause you’re full of feces. Team was down 10 starters, lost our only TE in the third quarter (Adkins was obviously a big part of our game plan), Wells was limping, defense on the field the entire second half. Our guys played their *** off.

The schmuck actually called Rattler "Rattled" and referred to him as a quitter! Just my opinion but you don't need to apologize for anything you posted about him. If his throat and Dabo's throat were both on fire, I'd give my one water bottle to Dabo
