I don’t know how much traction these games will have on this board but whatever. I expect Denver to win in 6 games, Boston in five. One problem for me is that the games tip at 8:45 and I won’t know the result until morning.

One reason I like the Premier League is that the games kick off on the hour or the half-hour, precisely. Why complicate things?

The Heat are for real and have the superior coach in Spoelstra. I expect the Heat to win the series barring any serious injuries. Denver should take out the Lakers and I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami could win it all.

Superior coach is right. I watched the first half of Boston-Miami Game 3 last night and Miami plays great basketball. What a flow, just so gd impressive.

Wow. Boston had a nice lead at halftime.

EDIT: Boston was up by nine at the half. I thought the lead was bigger than that. Still, Miami outscored Boston, 46-25, in the 3rd quarter.
46 pts in the 3rd qtr? Did the Celtics bother to play defense? The teams from the 1980s like Detroit wouldn't have tolerated that.

Last night was bizarre. It’s almost like Lebron wanted to lose. He was unstoppable in the first half and then simply wasn’t involved for the 3q. I thought he was going to put up a 60 piece figuring that if he was going down, it would not be without him swinging. I can’t believe how many shots close to the rim they missed. Denver Miami isn’t what the suits want but you are going to get two teams that are going to compete like crazy.

Not a LeBron fan but I think he just gets tired in the 2nd half.

LBJ last night had 31 points in the 1st half, 9 in second half. One of his issues is that he needs lift on his jump shot, as opposed to, for example, Jokic. Klay Thompson is this way too.

Davis was bad. He got called for a foul on a three point shot, completely avoidable, a brutal mistake.

wow, Derrick White with a bucket with 0.1 sec left to give the Celtics game 6, 104-103, after Jimmy Butler put the Heat up by 1 with 3.0 sec left.

150 times in a 7 game series a team has jumped out to a 3-0 game lead. Only 3 times has there been a game 7. In all three of those games the team that had the 3-0 lead played game 7 at home and won. Never has a team been down 3-0, battled back to tie the series, and played game 7 at home... Until now. Of course us Boston fans believe Celts will lose game 7 because that's more painful than losing game 6

Quite a game it was. I think our guys get it done on Monday. Now, after that might be another matter.

Heat fan here (sort of, anyhow). Most Miami fans feel the Heat have almost no chance to win on Boston. Very interesting that Boston fans would think the opposite.

Holy crap, the Celts seem to hit every 3. Grant Williams, Horford, White, Tatum... never remember seeing a higher %.

I'll say it quick then leave it... officiating last night was BAD. Still trying to figure out how Boston was down 83-82 then got 4 free points. And Tatum gets EVERY call. Frustrating.

Not to take anything away from Miami (they played very well), but also a pretty bad display by Celtics tonight.

I can’t say that I’m a Miami fan, but was in this series. Bye Boston 🖕🏻

On a separate note … shows that the 76ers made the wrong decision on who to keep. Jimmy Butler should still be in Philly.

Celtics have no soul... they are just a bunch of chuckers... live be the 3, die by the 3. They played horribly in game 6 but stole win because Heat played worse. That play continued into game 7 and Miami stepped up. Tatum turning ankle was a factor but the entire team is just gutless.

The "Boston is gutless" mantra is too harsh. Tatum scored 51 his previous game seven. Gutless teams don't come back from 0-3. Horford was coaching the team during timeouts last night. No team with Al Horford deserves to be called gutless.

But Boston did have an amazing way of going cold, either blowing leads in 4Q or else digging themselves an insurmountable hole in 1Q. Brown was pretty bad with the turnovers, wow, everyone guarding him became Walt Frazier.
